Chicago-Based Milton Industries Signs Three-Year Union Agreement
Manufacturer Works In Partnership With Labor Force To Keep 110 U.S. Jobs

CHICAGO, September 8, 2017 - Compressed air accessories and fitting manufacturer Milton Industries (miltonindustries.com) has executed a three-year contract with its organized labor force that outlines a win-win working partnership. Despite absorbing significant cost increases, especially those from Chicago ordinances, the management and labor teams have worked together to gain meaningful production efficiencies and maintain its Made in USA products.

“With many major resellers sourcing products off-shore and most competitors closing U.S. operations, Milton is one of the few select Made in U.S.A. pneumatic accessory suppliers remaining,” said Milton Industries, Inc. President and CEO, Greg Carlson. “We are proud of our team’s resilience and commitment to making the highest quality products here in Chicago with a great labor force and in a world-class city.”

“Milton has been able to maintain our primary manufacturing facility in Chicago and continues to employ its 110 teammates that contribute to our success,” says Carlson. The production plant is located on the 4500 block of Cortland Street in the Hermosa Neighborhood (?). “Milton continues our commitment to products made in the U.S.A.”

Milton products are available at many leading hardware stores and industrial distributors including Do-It-Best, Grainger and McMaster-Carr.
